Walpurgis Night on Sokolský vrch

The last evening of April in Karlovy Vary belongs to witches, bonfires and a programme for the whole family.

The traditional burning of the witches takes place on Sokolský vrch hill — with music, theatre and children's contests, culminating in the lighting of a great bonfire after dark. It is one of the town's most popular spring evenings.

From Hotel Hubertus the centre is only minutes away, so after nightfall you return easily to the calm of the forests above the Ohře. Find more ideas for family outings nearby here.
