What data we process and why
Contact and restaurant forms: first name, surname, e-mail address, telephone number and the message you send. We use the data to answer your enquiry or to take steps before entering into a contract. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR, depending on the nature of the enquiry.
Reservations and accommodation: identification and contact details, stay dates, number of guests, selected services and information required for payment and accounting documents. We use this information to create and fulfil a reservation, communicate with guests and meet legal obligations. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR. Card details are handled by the reservation or payment provider and are not stored directly by this website.
Marketing: we send marketing communications only when an appropriate legal basis applies. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
Website operation and security: server logs, IP address, device data and a necessary session cookie may be processed to operate the website securely and reliably on the basis of legitimate interests pursued by the controller under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Analytics and advertising: Google Analytics and Google Ads are loaded only in line with the choice made in the cookie banner. The legal basis is consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. We do not send your name, e-mail address, telephone number or form message to analytics.
CCTV: recordings from marked hotel areas are used to protect people and property on the basis of legitimate interests. The usual retention period is no more than 7 days, unless a specific incident needs to be investigated.
Processors and other recipients
Our contracted service providers may process data to the extent necessary: Previo for online reservations, Resend for delivery of form e-mails, hosting and IT support providers, accountants, payment providers and banks. Cloudflare Turnstile protects forms against abuse. After the relevant consent is given, Google Analytics and Google Ads may also receive data; Google Maps is used to display maps and directions. We disclose data to public authorities only where required by law.
Transfers outside the European Economic Area
Some technology providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. In that case, the transfer relies on appropriate safeguards, in particular an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.
Retention periods
We retain data only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose and the protection of legal claims. Accounting and tax documents are retained for the period required by law, usually 10 years. Contact correspondence is deleted after the enquiry has been resolved and a reasonable period for follow-up has passed. Marketing data is processed until consent is withdrawn or an objection is made. Your cookie choice is stored in the browser for 180 days. Depending on provider settings, analytics and advertising cookies may be stored for up to 2 years.
Your rights
You have the right to request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, to object to processing and to withdraw consent at any time. Send your request to info@hotelhubertuskv.cz. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection.
Cookies and changing your consent
Necessary storage supports the session, security and remembering your cookie choice. Analytics and advertising services are optional and denied by default. You can change your choice at any time through the “Cookie settings” link in the website footer.
