Svatošské skály (known in German lore as the Hans Heiling rocks) is a striking rock formation above the Ohře that, according to legend, was created when the wedding procession of the sorcerer Jan Svatoš turned to stone. A comfortable path follows the river — an ideal easy trip where children enjoy spotting the bride, groom and musicians in the rocks.

It is only a short hop from the hotel (about 15–20 minutes) and pairs nicely with a visit to Loket. There is also a restaurant right by the rocks. We have more trip tips ready for you.
