The Krásná Lookout Tower is one of the most beautiful in the Czech Republic, a distinction it likely owes to its charming shape. The tower is located in the center of the spa triangle between Karlovy Vary, Mariánské Lázně, and Františkovy Lázně. Construction of the stone observation tower began in 1933, and it underwent extensive renovation in 1997.
To reach the top of the tower, you’ll climb 120 stone steps. On a clear day, you can admire the surrounding landscape, including the Doupov and Ore Mountains, with Klínovec as the highest peak.
Every year, the lookout tower attracts not only day-trippers but also organizers of various events; for example, this beautiful location regularly hosts bonfires, children’s days, and even weddings.
